Boot for Bass VS Boot for Pram

Postby Minion160i » Wed Jul 20, 2016 7:51 pm

Hey guys!

I have daughter of 11 months and use the boot for her pram in my Midge 160i hatchback BUT i would also like to fit a subwoofer and i dont know whether it would be possible :?:

I currently have a backboard with pioneer 300watt 6x9s and its got hinges on it to put groceries or the pram in the boot with ease

Any suggestions on what size sub i can use for some decent base without having an eargasm with wax flowing all over

Hey man. Personally i will look at pioneer. They have some very cool shallow mount woffers that wont take up much space. Id also look at addind a decent split system in the front. That would give you a nice balance. Thats what i wouldve done. BUT pioneer is expensive

Any of the Jap brands are great, I prefer Sony, but Poineer, Panasonic, Clarion (most Mazdas have Clarion radio units) Sanyo etc all great.

I'd say go for an spl dynamic shallow sub.

The brand is amazing and has a lot of potential depending on how you tune.

I do not know if you found something yet as this post is a year old already.
But I found these little 6" subs 600RMS and 3000W Targa.
I am very impressed with the sound quality and power.
With 2 x 6" MTX mids and 2 x 6" Targa subs I got 125.5db last night.
